Bun in the Oven (not me)

Recently one of my very good friends in college, found out she was expecting her third baby. Adding another little one to her family had been her dream for a few years now and as we near the end of college she felt the time was right. She debated on finding out the sex of the baby. She already has two beautiful daughters and they begged her to find out. So she did. I asked her if I could prepare a gender reveal mini party in the canteen for our small group. I made pink buns for a girl, blue for a boy and purple in case she didn't find out.

So after what seemed like an extra long lecture we made our way to the canteen. As we went to buy several cups of tea, she laid the appropriate buns under the yellow serviettes I had provided and hid the remainder under the table, out of sight. We asked someone to film the big gender reveal for her to show her partner and children. Unfortunately I didn't get a photo of the result. I think I was too caught up in the moment. I screamed as I lifted up the serviette and several people began to stare. These sort of occasions make me very emotional. I am just so happy for her. In April, she will have two daughters and

a SON!!!!

Congratulations pet xx
