A Few Treats from the Capital

A few weeks ago I accompanied Ian to Dublin. He was playing one of his music pieces at a concert in the National Concert Hall. A very proud wife so I was. Anyway it was a long day of performances and his was not being played until late afternoon so I decided to spend the morning browsing the shops. Here are a few things I picked up.

I bought these tan coloured riding boots in Korky's Shoe shop on Henry Street. They were an excellent price at €49.99 and are so comfortable. I have worn them almost every day I have not been in work placement.

I picked up these three beautiful bracelets in H & M and I did know the price until just now. I'm thinking around €7.95. There is a feather one, a silver and turquoise one (which is my absolute favourite) and a stretchy silver one which is only alright. Unfortunately my favourite one broke but I'm sure I can fix the chain.

I also got this decorative hair tie. It's rose gold and has a leopard print on it. So cute and I think classy with a touch of fun. I have a feeling it was €4.95. Sorry about my poor price memory skills.

I also bought this top in H & M for I think €14.95. It's a satiny top at the front and knitted at the back. The top is quite unusual and has been admired greatly. I picked it up in the XS because it runs big.

Last but not least I found this butterfly/moth skater dress in Next. A bargain at €36 because I have gotten so much wear out of it already. I pair it with my new boots, brown tights, brown cardigan and nude scarf. It's so comfortable and looks cute with minimum effort.

So that's all the treats I picked up. On a very tight budget I think I did well. Just wanted a few new things for the springtime.

Thanks again for stopping by,

With love,

Gem xx
