The Body Shop - Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil

After hearing so much about this reasonable priced cleansing oil, I decided to pick it up. For €12 exactly, you get 200ml of product and a little goes along way. It comes in a sleek plastic bottle with a pump. The texture of the oil is obviously oily, but it’s a light oil.

So here’s how I used it - With a full face of make up I rubbed a small amount of the oil all over my face, including my eyelids. I then applied a small amount of water with my hands and continued to massage the emulsified product around my face. You could rinse it off with water but I prefer to use a facecloth because it gives a gentle exfoliation to my skin. I followed this with a splash of water and I was good to go. The Body Shop Silky Cleansing Oil removed all of my make up, including my eye make up (and I always use waterproof mascara). It did not cause any stinging or irritation to my eyes. My skin felt clean and super soft after use. Although the oil doesn’t smell like camomile it does have a pleasant smell. Unfortunately, I can’t quite put my finger on the scents. This cleansing oil would definitely suit people with normal to dry skin. I’m not sure about people with oily skin although it says that it does. Because it doesn’t leave a residue, if rinsed off properly, it may suit oily skin. Let me know if you are oily and have tried this - how did it work for you?

Thanks for stopping by,

With Love,
