Pregnancy Update - Week 10

(excuse the funny face)

How far along? 10 weeks (7th November 2015)
Maternity clothes? Definitely don't need them yet. However I am wearing comfortable clothes because I am very bloated all day long.
Sleep? I want it all of the time. I wake up every morning feeling absolutely exhausted even though I probably slept a 9 hour night. I have to take a nap every day and they can last anywhere from 45 min to 1.5 hours. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to rest. I sleep immediately at night too and for the entire night. I feel like I am jet lagged all of the time and doing anything wears me out. What would I do if I was working?!
Best moment this week? Ian's parents coming to visit this weekend. We broke the news to them over dinner on the first night. It was so nice telling family.
Symptoms? Besides the bloating and tiredness I have already covered, I feel nauseous for the entire day, minus about 2/3 hours in the evening. I am really dreaming vividly since I became pregnant. I especially dream about my dad (who passed away).
Food cravings? I only want the blandest of foods such as cereal, crackers, bread, rice, potatoes - actually just carbs. Oh and also clementines or mandarins. I eat about 6 a day and always have to have two beside the bed. They just taste so amazing to me at the moment.
Food aversions? Alcohol and meat - I eat very little meat anyway. I was a vegetarian for a while but now I eat chicken on occasion and sliced deli ham. At the moment though the thought, look or smell of meat is really turning my stomach. I also really don't want chocolate and have been pretty much off it since the beginning of my pregnancy. I normally eat chocolate every day!
Gender? Don't know
Movement? none
Labour signs? No
Belly button in or out? In
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or Moody? I am generally feeling really happy but I am also feeling so exhausted so I guess I am quite moody too because of that. I am not snapping but I may be grumpy. I am not feeling like myself and I don't want to see people.
Miss anything? Having energy
What I'm looking forward to? Going to see Ian's brother and wife in London in 2 weeks time and telling them our news.

If you are a mother, I would love to know how you found your first trimester to be.

With love,
gem xx
